Yoshiko Fuji is a Japanese-born actress who is noted for her versatility. Theatre credits include Everyone's Carol alongside Austin Pendleton and Arthur French and Office Takeshi Kitano stage production of Miyako Inn.  New York readings/workshops include The Grass Couch with Tovah Feldshuh directed by Michael Parva.  Film credits include Sayonara directed by Cannes Award winner Kōji Fukada, Fuunji directed by Japan Academy Award winner Shigeru Ishihara, and Tayutau with cinematography by Japan Academy Award winner Naoki Kayano.  For her acting on Japanese stage, Fuji received 2007-2008 Overseas Study Programme for Artists Fellowship Grant from Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs.  Trained with the gold standards of stage and screen: William Esper, John Patrick Shanley, Michael Howard, Jonathan Lynn, and Austin Pendleton.
