Yoshiko Fuji was born into a samurai family in Japan on the day of rain water according to the East Asian celestial calendar.  Yoshiko means exquisite one gods love.  Her global collaborators include Cannes Prix du Jury Award winning director Kôji Fukada in cinema and Broadway luminaries Austin Pendleton and Tovah Feldshuh in New York theatre.  Her speaking / singing voice has been featured in national commercials, animation, and museums.  Fuji is an ambassador for Yorai 5, the artisan tea brand in Taiwan.  The Japanese government awarded Fuji the Overseas Study Programme for Artists Fellowship Grant for her work on Japanese stage.  Classically trained in New York with the gold standards of Broadway and Cinema.  She is a member of Japan Actors Union, as well as Actors' Equity Association in the USA.
